The Story Behind Aurori

Jewelry that carries meaning, crafted to last, and inspired by Palestine.

Aurori Jewels began as an idea when I was 17 years old, during my junior year of high school. What started as sketches, late-night ideas, and a passion project has grown into Aurori Jewels, a brand built on quality, purpose, and heritage.

I’ve always loved jewelry, but growing up, I was constantly disappointed when pieces I bought would tarnish or turn my skin green after only a short time. They were often marketed as gold plated, but I quickly realized that the materials underneath and the quality of the craftsmanship make all the difference. Learning about durable materials, hypoallergenic jewelry, and long-lasting finishes inspired me to create pieces that people could truly wear every day without worrying about fading, tarnishing, or irritation.

At the same time, I wanted to create something that reflected who I am. As a proud Palestinian, my heritage has always been an important part of my identity. I wanted to design jewelry that honored the beauty of Palestine, the stories passed down through generations, and the people who shaped my life, especially my beautiful grandmother, Allah yerhamha, Siti Hiba. Every collection is inspired by the memories, culture, and traditions I grew up with, while celebrating the resilience, beauty, and history of Palestine through subtle, timeless designs.

Every piece tells a story. From the resilience represented by the poppy flower to the deep roots symbolized by the olive tree, each design carries a hidden meaning while remaining elegant enough to wear every day. My goal was to create jewelry that naturally becomes part of your daily life. Something you can shower in, work out in, wash your hands with, and wear for years, all while carrying a reminder of your identity, your values, or a place you call home.

What began as a high school passion project has grown into Aurori Jewels. My hope is that every piece becomes more than just jewelry. I hope it starts conversations, creates connections, and allows people everywhere to carry a piece of home with them.

“على هذه الأرض ما يستحق الحياة.”
“On this land, there is that which deserves life.” — Mahmoud Darwish

These words remind us that even through hardship, our homeland is filled with beauty, resilience, and hope. They reflect the heart of Aurori Jewels and the belief that the stories we carry, the people we love, and the places we call home deserve to be remembered and celebrated.
